Sadly, Jerry's Little Car has suffered some cosmetic damage, spending the
last few winters in an unheated garage. The cold temperatures have
caused large patches of paint to crack and peel off of the exterior metal surfaces. In addition, some of the later fiberglass
work is now showing some cracking, too.
Jerry Kauffman's Little Car
is a valuable piece of Berks County history, and we are now accepting donations
to help us towards our goal of restoring it to its former glory and keeping it looking new for our future generations.
Any donations will also
help defray other costs, too, such as storage of the car, website
maintenance and advertising, and
other continued efforts to keep Jerry's Little Car in the public
eye.
